Good Rice from Columbia

1 stick of butter
1 large onion
2 cups white rice
4 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup fresh parsley
1/2 cup fresh basil
Salt to taste

Melt butter and saute onion until transparent.
Add rice and stir constantly until turning a caramel color.
Add chicken broth, then parsley, basil and salt. Bring to boil, lower heat and Cover and steam for 18 mins.
